The Kings Cross Camel Bone Chessmen are one of the rarer, more unique, products we have in the Regency Collection. Rest assured, every set we sell comes from ethical suppliers who only source camel bone from animals that have died from natural causes.

Craftsmen then create a regal series of chessmen that establishes a clear difference when it comes to each team. The light side are almost translucent, it seems, as bright as the light behind them. On the other side, an army of dark pieces come with detailed carvings in the colour of their enemy.

The royals wear exquisitely overstated crowns and the knights are unbelievably detailed from base to head. The king is 4.25 inches tall and has a wide base diameter of 1.3 inches (34 mm), making the King’s Cross Camel Bone Chessmen most comfortable on the beautifully crafted 20” grey briar board from Italy. With its stunning burr chequer board and high quality gloss finish, these pieces reflect regally on this playing field.
