Outstanding quality and form for the price, The Fierce Knight series chessmen have been handcrafted in ebonised boxwood and natural boxwood. Based on the classic Staunton design, they are not only hard to fault but the knights are particularly charismatic in this set. The Fierce Knight chess men are carefully packaged within a purpose built black flock lined wooden chess piece case, perfect for stowing away these stunning pieces when not in use.
We have matched the Fierce Knight ebonised pieces, and their dedicated box, with a stunning 15.75 inch board created from real wood veneers of high grade wenge and maple. Beautifully contemporary, this board is brought to you by the world famous Rechapados Ferrer of Spain.
Please note that the boxes are now supplied with the upgraded hidden magnetic closing mechanism but no longer have the divider. The images will be updated shortly.
The chess board in this set has been expertly crafted by Rechapados Ferrer in Spain using precision laser cutting techniques and stunning wooden veneers combined with expert lacquering and finishing. The underside of the board is finished in a satin veneer that is a different colour from the playing surface of the board. The veneers used for the underside may vary in colour from batch to batch.
