Based on the familiar Staunton look, these pieces have been beautifully hand carved from graded hardwoods, hand finished and polished using natural waxes. The proportions and weight of the the Old English Boxwood and Ebonised Boxwood set with a 3 inch (76 mm) king is sublime! Simply a great medium sized set that exudes tradition and elegance. Suitable for combining with chess boards that have a square size of 1.75 inches (44 mm). Supplied in Regency Chess branded packaging and ships with two additional queens.
