These solid rosewood chessmen have been beautifully crafted with contrasting colours decorating each side.

Our partner craftsmen were inspired by the idea that in chess, while there is an enemy, the toughest opponent can often be yourself. And, to have both sides carrying the same colours is an excellent representation of this. The fact that one colour is provided by the expressive grains of exotic rosewood represents something else entirely: luxury.
In terms of material quality each piece has been expertly polished, triple weighted and felted on the base. These measures ensure that these juxtaposed chess pieces will never need replacing.
