Extra large quality Montgoy palisander and maple veneer chess board produced in Spain by one of the world’s most prestigious manufacturers. The deepest red grain of this particular type of rosewood is magnificent; the attention to detail and meticulous edging superb. Finished in an eggshell low sheen lacquer, this board is suitable for our largest chess pieces of 4 inches (102 mm) and larger in red sandalwood, rosewood or ebony.

This chess board has been expertly crafted by Rechapados Ferrer in Spain using precision laser cutting techniques and stunning wooden veneers combined with expert lacquering and finishing. The underside of the board is finished in a satin veneer that is a different colour from the playing surface of the board. The veneers used for the underside may vary in colour from batch to batch.
